Led the ministry’s communications, marketing and media outreach operations, responsible for the development of Care Net’s communication and marketing strategy. Also served as project lead on developing a new strategic plan, creation and launch of new corporate and community websites; and designing an app for use in a counseling setting. In addition: • Advanced Care Net’s position with relevant constituents, drove broader awareness and donor support for the organization, and led overall organizational branding and messaging. • Directed Care Net’s web properties and ensured that its E-commerce website (in development) would provide high quality and accurate content and information for customers.• Headed implementation and usage of Hubspot inbound marketing platform to manage and track Care Net’s eNewsletters, blogs, landing pages, contact lists, and leads.• Collaborated with internal staff, web vendors and web contractors on strategies to grow Care Net’s online presence and increase website traffic, including SEO tactics, blogger outreach, and social media efforts.• Served as a point person for Care Net’s media outreach efforts. Worked to pro-actively to position Care Net for optimum media coverage. Managed prescreening of interview requests and conducted interviews when the President and CEO is not available or when appropriate.• Developed and managed Care Net’s social media outreach strategy. Responsible for shaping and implementing an integrated social media communications strategy for Care Net; including strategies for Facebook, Twitter, blogging, email, e-newsletters, and other communications activities. • Managed the Graphic Design staff to develop print and web graphics; coordinated production of advertising and marketing brochures, sales kits and other promotional materials.• Directed the development of marketing pieces such as targeted mailings, targeted emails and web initiatives, conference promotions and flyers, etc.
