Developed a team to understand back office card processing, as well as dispute management. Helped the team learn and follow regulatory and association requirements. Reviewed processes for efficiency opportunity. Key Milestone: contributed to the successful launch of our digital claims platform.

My responsibilities were to act as the primary resource for all card related matters. My role included, but not limited to: Chargeback Review and internal processing in compliance with Reg E/Visa/MasterCard rules/policy, act as a SME on Card related projects, maintain a solid working knowledge of card related products/services, process journal vouchers, Card Fraud mitigation, card stock inventory management, managed ATM’s and troubleshot any outages, check processing, remote deposit capture review, process exception reports. Key Achievements: was the card SME for the brand flip project where we moved from Visa to MasterCard. Was the primary project leader for our ATM upgrade to chip capable terminals. Received 3 service awards for going above and beyond my role.

Managed retail and backoffice operations of this small credit union. This includes, but was not limited to: Card Services, Wire Transfer, ACH processing, Check Processing, BSA/AML, New Account Review, ATM Management, Vault Management. I assisted the Accounting Team when they were out, to ensure daily reconciliation was not missed. Assisted the Consumer Lending Team with credit analys booking loans. Also helped with HELOC appraisal review.
