About Melisa Minca
I am a Berlin-based upcycling enthusiast, maker and designer. My interest in ethical fashion started to grow when I was studying Sustainable Development. In 2018 I launched my own online shop where you can find ‘System Recovery‘ – collection of upcycled and reworked one-of-a-kind clothes designed and made by me and my team in Berlin. MM serves as a bridge between ethical fashion and contemporary design. MM is for eccentric individuals who want to have fun with self-expression, but at the same time not contribute to the environmental pollution and human exploitation which the fashion industry is causing. Our mission is to transform the way people treat clothes, but also the way they treat each other.
