Melisa Minca

Melisa Minca is a Berlin-based clothing label founded in 2018 that specializes in upcycling, reworking pre-loved items, custom tailoring, and ethical production. We strive to make the future more equitable, just, and sustainable. The major goal of upcycling is to raise awareness about the dangers associated with fast fashion, as well as the fashion industry in general and, more specifically, consumerist culture. Although upcycling will not solve everything, we try to actively support and demand change through our work. MM acts as a link between ethical fashion and contemporary design. MM is for eccentric individuals who are seeking to express themselves freely without contributing to the environmental pollution and human exploitation that much of the fashion industry is causing. Our aim is to transform the way people look at clothes, but also the way they treat each other. What one is wearing shouldn’t perpetuate any sort of hierarchy, but instead celebrate our diversity.
