Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by. Here's a little bit about me... I am an Educator who taught at Design School located in Melbourne. As a qualified Trainer and Assessor, I trained, developed and mentored students in the successful completion of their Certificate IV in Interior Decoration. I have prepared training materials, assisted with the development of the learning curriculum and comply with all registered training organisation requirements. I loved mentoring my students through their learning journey; sharing my knowledge and encouraging them truly brought me so much joy! And then to see them flourish in their new found careers because of the training they received- ultimate cup filler!I work as a Shoot Stylist, styling editorial campaigns for local architects, interior designers and publications including The Local Project. As an Event Stylist, I adore styling some of Melbourne’s most romantic scenes. Prior to this, I was employed as a Design Leader at a Melbourne property styling company where I was responsible for the overall styling of homes presented for sale. I managed a team of stylists and ensured their continued training and development and was responsible for client liasion and communication regarding design concepts and styling.I have also worked as a Visual Merchandiser where I developed and created concepts for the effective display of furniture, homewares and artwork. I helped achieve stores sales targets through the effective display of products. My work as a Styling Coordinator at another popular styling company saw me oversee the entire styling process for clients and I was also heavily relied upon to manage all logistics and coordinate all job and staffing requirements. I developed processes and documentation to streamline job completions as well as training and developing junior stylists and assistants. I was part of the marketing team involved in new branding and logo development together with the new website. It wasn't always fluffing cushions and making beds though as I worked for the Magistrates' Court of Victoria for over 10 years climbing the ladder from Bench Clerk to finishing up as Registry Manager of the Children's Court. A master administrator, I dotted every i and crossed every t in sight! Two of my greatest achievements- I created a new funded ongoing role to deal with improved training for new staff which was widely supported by the Magistracy; and I was asked to lecture our students and staff at RMIT University in the area of Family Violence given my expertise in this jurisdiction.
