• Review & identify changes in tax form instructions, tax regulations & tax code • Ensure that tax form calculations accurately reflect current form instructions & tax regulations • Translate form instructions into various mathematical equations • Test accuracy of tax calculations to identify any errors in the software performance • Design the complete user experience for all assigned forms, including but not limited to: layouts, data collection windows, calculations, help screens, e-Filing, print • Problem solve and debug errors within the software • Review and resolve escalated customer issues for assigned products by providing work- arounds to incorrect presentations, and explaining product functionality • Assist Customer Support Department during filing deadline periods to ensure quality customer experience & provide support to tax preparers during critical filing periods

• Reconcile various general ledger accounts, identifying & resolving discrepancies • Oversee all accounts receivable functions, including but not limited to: sales orders, invoicing, collections, inventory monitoring • Define and improve accounts receivable processes

• Process federal, state and local tax liability for numerous clients within multiple tax jurisdictions• Process federal returns, Forms 941, 940, W-2, W-2C, 8027; Prepare state and local withholding returns; Prepare state unemployment returns; • • Reconcile taxes withheld to amounts calculated, analyzing variances in taxable wage amounts• Process state and local sales, liquor, use and other various tax returns • Create spreadsheets to calculate taxes; Build reports to compare actual tax collected to tax calculated and analyze variances; Analyze taxability of items invoiced for use tax.• Correspond with IRS and various state and local tax jurisdictions • Research federal, state, and local tax laws
