CurrentDirect day to day business and clinical operations for seven separate specialty physician practices within a free-standing Cancer Center. Leafd team of 20+ employees, including recruitment, training, evaluation, performance management and payroll. Code review and audit surgical procedures to maximize revenue and minimize insurance denials. Advanced through leadership ranks from office manager of one practice to administrator of seven. Launched four new practices, improved referral process, formalized revenue cycle, hired and trained for expanded staff requirements.Accomplishments: Prepared and successfully completed three Joint Commission surveys. Ensure adherence to compliance standards through staff and physician education, training and feedback Strengthened financial performance through KPI evaluation, revenue cycle management, and enhanced budget control. Claim denials kept at <3% with YOY increase in revenue. Increased patient load 20% within five years. Achieved 90th percentile in 5 out of 6 patient satisfaction measures in Press Ganey by introducing more efficient operational workflows and employing continuous improvement measures and feedback mechanisms Key collaborator in the development of a cross-campus liver transplant program with Montefiore Medical Center.
