I took the opportunity to upskill and become an accredited 'Top 5' coach through Strengths Network South Pacific in June 2018. I arrange testing and then analysis and personalised sessions to support individuals in their required area of application. This has ranged from their role as employers, or as life partners/parents, to students seeking to explore the unique way their innate strengths function together as they take next steps in study/entry to workforce. I love to meet and empower others to develop and realise their potential.

I grew up on a sheep farm in Southland, upskilled through AgITO before pursuing banking and growing our own farming entity.

As I understood my family's sensitivities to common toxic chemicals, I sought to find new options for daily personal/household needs and came across good quality essential oils to provide natural solutions. From a farming background I loved learning about the amazing varied chemical components these oils contained and enjoyed sharing with others. I ran classes and grew my team quickly as the brand was introduced to the NZ market, which provided many valuable networking experiences and worldwide travel.

Front line re-entry to workforce after extended maternity leave and growing our farming entity.

Successful job-sharing role providing tailored solutions for customers, such as unsecured lending, investments, insurance, personal accounts, business development, and support for other sectors. Family circumstances prevented me from continuing in this enjoyable role.

I took a full time fixed term opportunity to develop my career and lead a small branch network through our systems overhaul and brand change. It was a privilege to encourage and coach my team through this time, and I felt they were well supported and equipped for resilience through change.

Following the birth of my son I worked here as a casual BC for the Agri team at The National Bank. It involved back office work actioning work requests from Managers and liaising with our rural client base.

This was a PB role in the busiest branch in Christchurch. I loved the fast paced and challenging demands here and made many friends and contacts for life; many of whom still work for ANZ.
