Since 1999, Portland-based Opsis Architecture has been designing award-winning, innovative projects. Opsis was founded on the beliefs of design excellence, sustainable practices and collaborative vision making. Our staff works together in an open studio to provide creative design solutions that adhere to their client's budgets and schedules.We believe that good design is sustainable design. Because each project is unique, we explore the potential for sustainability inherent to each site and every building. We work directly with all of our clients to incorporate the most current sustainable design techniques and technology.Our work is crafted with an understanding that successful buildings and spaces reflect the ideas, values and character that make each context unique. Our expertise has been fine-tuned to the needs of our diverse clients, including campus master plans, classroom buildings, performing arts centers, fine arts facilities, allied health buildings, applied technology buildings, science labs, teaching and learning centers, distance learning facilities, student unions, recreation centers and libraries. This combined experience, paired with an acute ability to listen to our clients, allows us to structure a design process with the greatest degree of input and participation.
