Current projects include:PISQ-IR Summary ScorePurpose: Evaluation of scoring approaches for magnitude estimation and weights to generate a single summary score for multiple sub-scales of a validated scale to assess sexual function for women with POP, UI or AI.Expanded code status options on physician behavior and patient outcomes.Purpose: To assess how physician-ordering practices for code statuses change as a result of the expanded code status policy in a tertiary children's hospital.The new policy expands the DNR order into three more specific options: DNR / Do Not Intubate , DNR/ Do Not Escalate, and DNR/ Comfort care only. Q-sort on Understandings and Ideals in Prenatal Testing (QUIPS)Purpose: Development of a typology of values specific to diverse stakeholders of complex prenatal genetic testing using a Q-methodological approach.Experiences and Attitudes in Prenatal Testing (KEAPS)Purpose: New prenatal testing modalities allow for the detection of fetal DNA in maternal plasma, allowing for non-invasive prenatal testing for fetal aneuploidy and other genetic conditions. This study seeks to explore the attitudes and experiences of women being offered and undergoing this new testing protocol. This knowledge will be used to improve genetic counseling and consent procedures for the new tests.
