Serves as a resource and learning and development coach for supervisors supporting staff. Aids in identifying training and non-training strategies to ensure alignment with enterprise initiatives and ROI through increased performance, productivity and service. Designs and implements internal development programs, conferring with leadership and subject matter experts to integrate training efforts. Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and recordkeeping of enterprise training calendar and learning management system.

Partnered with the Retail Performance Manager and Learning and Development Business Partner to research and develop improved training methods and aids for the designed curriculum to maintain and ensure the most current information and best practices were in place. Conducted scheduled assessments and updated curriculum when needed. Maintained contact with other departments of the financial institution to monitor changes that impacted Retail and provided effective training accordingly. Ensured the entire new hire training cycle was effectively completed, including scheduling, on-boarding, training delivery, monitoring the trainee’s learning, evaluation, and following up with the trainee’s manager. Conducted training sessions specific to Retail with designed curriculum from the L&D Department. Facilitated training of all Retail staff on sales and service techniques, bank products and services, the use of bank equipment, information systems, policies and procedures.

Trained Retail new hires on teller and customer service representative functions including complex transactions, branch opening/closing duties, maintaining logs and other reports, balancing a cash drawer, and other operational tasks as needed. Cross-sales, opening and maintaining deposit products and services. Identifying customer needs and referring to appropriate business lines for mortgages, business services, commercial and trust products and services. Followed up to ensure internal customer satisfaction and that the new hire training was completed according to designed Learning and Development curriculum.
