I think education and learning are awesome, so I've made a career out of helping people connect with information, resources, and learning opportunities. I have an MLIS and experience as a Research and Instruction Librarian, where I supported the information and research needs of campus communities and developed and taught information literacy courses. I currently work as an instructional designer in higher education, developing online courses with SMEs by incorporating Adult Learning Theory and Universal Design for Learning. I believe in creating content that is relevant and applicable to learners, valuing their experiences, skills, and knowledge. Additionally, I've created and taught a variety of credit-bearing courses across a variety of learning modalities. This includes first-year writing and composition, graduate research methods, and graduate e-learning design.
