Based out of the National Support Office in Port Melbourne my role wasto assist the National Promotions Manager to meet promotional deadlines and to support the Merchandise team in maintaining various tasks. • Supporting the National Promotions Manager to manage the National Catalogue process• Signing off on promotional material & Tickets before being sent to print and/ or stores• Creating and maintaining internal communications bulletins• Administrative support & data entry

Sports Star Academy is a national training academy that provides training for children and young adults across several sports including Soccer, Tennis, Netball, Rugby and Australian Rules Football. Additionally, the company runs a large franchise model with demanding operational requirements.  Working across both sides of the business my roles were diverse and multi-faceted, with a focus on operations management for Soccer Time Kids, which included but was not limited to the following functions; • Development of detailed session plans and operations manuals for staff• Leading development workshops and meetings• Training and development of new and existing coaching and administrative staff• Coaching the Soccer Time Kids program at various locations• Engaging with external stakeholders • Management of HR functions including onboarding new employees • Office support including maintenance of operational equipment and fleet management

During my time with the company I gained valuable enterprise skills which saw me grow in several roles including the role of workplace coach for the Certificate III Retail program and a consultancy position, responsible for the HACCP food safety and OH&S implementation across several restaurants.During my employment I was fortunate to further my education through McDonald’s training, completing the Diploma of Leadership and Management through the Restaurant Leadership Practices (RLP) course.
