The Butler University Speaker's Lab helps students improve their presentations and speeches. I tutored up to 10 students a week to help them improve their presentations.

As an undergraduate student, I worked under Dr. Jennifer Berry at Butler University in her Behavioral Neuroscience lab. Dr. Berry studies substance abuse, specifically alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine.

I was chosen as a scholar for Butler Summer Institute. Over 10 weeks I conducted my own research project that would become my honors thesis. I also gained experience presenting research and attended workshops on professional academic development.My research project looked at the combined effects of alcohol and caffeine in a mouse model. We found that moderate amounts of caffeine facilitated voluntary consumption of alcohol in C57 mice.
