Providing consistent Customer Service to the base that is assigned, and solicit freight to the maxium level. Understanding all customer needs problems and concerns along with building a relationship with the customer. Scheduling shipments, both pick up and delivery times, and recording that time into the computer system so that dispatchers have a clear understanding as to when shipments need to be dispatched. Monitor EDI through out the day for customer shipments assigned, and accepting those orders in a timely manner. Have a constant awareness of the trucks and shipments that originate or deliver. Serve as the liaison between the Georgia and Texas divisons;exchange truck forms with Texas that provides the inbound trucks to both areas on a daily basis; working to keep trucks moving in a prfitable manner.
