Key requirements: Direct a team responsible for communicating the Energy Rating Label seen on consumer goods, setting minimum energy performance standards for several products domestically and contributing to minimum energy performance standards internationally. Achievements:• Led a team to design and manage a national consultation to review the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act• Developed a national energy savings app including industry consultation and user testing.

Key requirements: Management of two separate teams, one responsible for the design and implementation of the Low Income Energy Efficiency Program (LIEEP), which aims to support government, business and community organisations to trial approaches to improve the energy efficiency of low income households, another responsible for stakeholder engagement and communication support. Achievements:• Successfully led the team that designed and implemented the LIEEP, in consultation with key industry stakeholders, state and local governments, for the improvement of energy efficiency in low-income households• Developed and implemented a strategy to launch the Low Carbon Communities Program (LCC), which received national media coverage strengthened by supporting stakeholder media releases, follow up articles and radio interviews in regional media over the following weeks • Managed a large team to be flexible and resilient, such as being able to provide supporting functions for additional programs with minimal resources and without a reduction in service delivery standards • Developed a cross-government narrative that told everyday Australians the story about why and how the government was investing in smarter energy use to reduce energy bills.

Key requirements: Design and implement communication strategies, support campaign development and manage media relations.Achievements:• Developed several campaign strategies to support a range of potential campaigns including an energy efficiency consumer focused campaign, a campaign to support the proposed Emissions Trading Scheme, a strategy to explain climate change and the public release of the ‘Clean Energy Future’ Campaign

Provide strategic advice to the Minister and his Office to develop and implement a proactive media strategy, organise media (radio, print, television) interviews, publicity events and stakeholder engagement events, draft regular blogs, opinion editorial pieces, media releases, talking points and background information packs including briefing material for Senators, Ministers and parliamentarians. Media spokesperson for Mr Dreyfus. Achievements:• On behalf of Mr Dreyfus, I drafted a weekly blog and negotiated a weekly feature with the Age newspapers online site• Secured a monthly interview spot for Mr Dreyfus to discuss topical issues on Sky News Agenda• Negotiated a regular panel spot for Mr Dreyfus for ABC’s Q&A program• Negotiated a two-page profile piece featuring Mr Dreyfus with the Age • Worked with Mr Dreyfus to successfully develop a strategy for release of a contentious report which highlighted issues around the Government’s Home Insulation Scheme

Key requirements: Design and implement a communications strategy for energy efficiency initiatives, manage media relations, pitch stories, coordinate national events and production of communication materials, including website content and media materials supporting the development and release of the Prime Minister Task group on Energy Efficiency. Achievements:• Developed and implemented a very successful media strategy to support the release of the Report of the Prime Minister's Task Group on Energy Efficiency and was awarded a certificate of merit from the Secretary, Martin Parkinson. • Worked with the Special Envoy on Climate Change, Howard Bamsey, to provide several detailed media briefings
