Melissa has worked in human resources for more than a decade. She has experience leading multiple HR disciplines in a variety of industries. Her experience includes implementing organizational talent programs such as talent planning, acquisition, development, and succession; designing and implementing new compensation, incentive, and performance programs; and advising on a wide variety of employee relations programs and issues.Melissa is delighted to work in the utility industry at a time of unprecedented change. In her role, she oversees all HR programs and crafts people strategies to meet business goals. Areas of responsibility include employee relations, labor relations, total rewards, development and training, HR operations, talent acquisition, and talent management. She is passionate about partnering and collaborating with industry experts and business partners to design programs that ensure MGE’s workforce is equipped to meet the challenges of the future.
