I'm the sole Ed Tech person in a district of 41,000 students. I create opportunities for teachers to learn about and use technology in their classrooms.Along the way I have: * Managed a competitive granting process for ed tech tools for teachers in Salem-Keizer that includes authoring and designing the grant process, reviewing and approving applications, budgeting and purchasing tools, managing 4 professional development sessions, and reviewing and sharing results from teachers (2012-13 and 2013-14) * Written and managed three Title IID (Ed Tech) competitive grants through the Oregon Department of Ed affecting 16 teachers in 4 schools and involving over 200 hours of professional development in each grant (2009 - 2012) * Created and led the Technology Curriculum Leader Cadre, a group of teachers who received an Ed Tech tool then met monthly to discuss use of the tools in the classroom (2006-2009)My philosophy can be summarized in a simple picture that I created.
