Melissa is currently the Founder and Executive Director of The Net, an organization that addresses sex trafficking and sexual exploitation by supporting survivors. serves people in poverty in North Texas. She is also the Chief Vision Officer of a company she co-founded called Worthy Co., that employs women survivors of trafficking to hand-make products sold online and at their brick and mortar retail store. Melissa also regularly speaks at conferences and trainings on topics such as: trafficking awareness, a biblical view of justice and poverty, and/or motivational keynotes to encourage an audience to make a difference with their lives.Outside of The Net, Melissa and her husband recently launched multiple luxury airbnb rental homes on in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
