Leads the Association staff in preparation of loan closing documents on all real estate loans through both internal and external resources. Provides additional review and/or drafting of loans and loan documents. Reviews requirements for title insurance commitments and policies and works with both internal and external resources to resolve issues. Selects, trains, motivates and evaluates multiple positions engaged in the preparation and review of legal real estate and commercial loan closing and servicing documents. Identifies training needs for the loan department and other Association staff in the areas of legal loan contracts. Acts as a resource to Association staff on loan related topics. Presents information in formal training sessions and one-on-one sessions on:o Title insuranceo Legal descriptionso Real estate and personal property collateral lien perfectionso Loan servicing actionso Legal entitieso Loan contracts and covenantso Regulations of CFPB and other governmental agencies. Reviews loan documents post loan closing to determine the accuracy of title insurance policies, the legality of executed documents, and compliance with all applicable regulations. Determines reporting requirements and develops reports to meet management needs.

Staff Management – Develops, motivates, and evaluates direct reports. Monitors and prepares reports to Executive Leadership. Manages staff workload and provides training to new staff. Prepares training and development presentations. Monitors updates in policy and procedure and assure staff adheres to them

Prepare loan documents. Contact Customer’s/Title Companies to schedule loan closings. Maintain close working relationship with loan officers, branch, staff, title companies, and other outside agencies. Review supporting loan documents. Assure compliance regulations, policy and procedures have been met. Final review of Deeds of Trust and Promissory Notes before closings.
