Position involves engaging, mentoring and encouraging at-risk children and giving them hands-on educational programs and experience to broaden their opportunities as they move to adulthood; I view my role as inspiring trust, self-confidence and informed decision making to help them create a better vision for their future.Goal included conducting pre-development assessment tests with a goal of 85% of 50 items answered accurately. I successfully completed this at a near 100% level (99%). I’m proud of this statistic as it importantly helps fine tune the needs of the individual child, connects them with the right resources, and is a big part of building a healthy connection with developmental assets.Also responsible for entering accurate program specific data to gain insight into improvements each semester / year; this assured we were on track with growth and development of students - and the information is also vital for numerous grants.Other skills: use and understanding of communication and financial tools like Excel, Powerpoint; helped with organization of our largest fundraiser to increase donations for program continuation (one goal was $1M for building renovation) and kept abreast via partnerships and community events on new resources that complement our programs and can enhance student abilities and success.

Worked with disabled adults with learning disabilities and behavior problems teaching them skills with the overall goal to further empower them to achieve success; used education and training to increase informed decision making to take action.The role provided this information and support without charge to help them make better social and financial decisions so they can get reintegrated into society.

Worked with underserved and homeless families, assisting them with the occupational life needs such as home care (kitchen, bath, bedrooms); also helped with daily meal services.Managed the support of guidelines to assure that rules were abided by safely, that those that could contribute would work and as appropriate apply funds for rent, as an example.Oversaw medication distribution (checking in / out medication)
