While spending time at home raising our children, I decided not to return to software and systems engineering. Fortunately, I discovered how I much I enjoy accounting while volunteering as treasurer for our local baseball association. I graduated with my Masters of Science in Accounting in May 2013. I passed all 4 CPA exams as of May 2016.From the fall of 2016 through summer of 2024, I worked at Scott, Singleton, Fincher & Company, PC, performing audits primarily of governmental and not-for-profit entities subject to federal and state single audits.In June 2024, I formed a PLLC to provide consulting services to government and not-for-profit entities subject to single audit to assist with accounting services and compliance with federal and state grant financial accounting and compliance requirements.In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our boys at the lake, gardening, crafting, and reading.
