I am currently the Practice Manager of a Direct Primary Care Practice in Belmont, NC. I have more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. I have worked in Outpatient Rehabilitation, Pediatrics and Family Practice; with experience in Billing, Coding, Registration, Insurance Verification, Payroll, Management and others. In my current role I am responsible for all of the administrative tasks required to run a physician's office as well as minor clinical duties. I am currently working towards my goals of becoming a board certified Patient Advocate as well as a Certified Practice Manager.I am also the Team Co-Lead and Lead Marketing Mentor of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4935, Team T-Rex. In my role as a mentor I am responsible for helping students learn soft skills, public speaking, writing, and marketing. Team 4935 is a registered 501c3 Non-Profit and I am also in charge of the fundraising and sponsorship needs of the team.
