• Responsible for development, management and direction of the adult media collection including digital content. Also encompasses budget, ordering, cataloguing, displays, promotion and evaluation• Management and administrative experience with policy and procedure development and implementation; hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of personnel and volunteers; payroll preparation; data collection, surveys and statistical information• Provide up-to-date technological assistance, not limited to Internet and database instruction, contribution to database selection, demonstration and instruction of various digital formats• Deliver in-depth research, ready reference, and custom-tailored informational assistance as per public and business queries• Member of: social media, building/expansion planning and director search committees• Remain current, relevant and informed by networking; conferences; continuing education classes, training and presentations; community seminars and online sessions

• Reference desk/Roving Librarian duties• Design and maintenance of the Brighton Library website• Troubleshooting of the public Internet PCs and LAN computers• Assistance in planning/coordinating Brighton’s expansion activities• Participation in staff development workshops
