As a former medical billing specialist at MedSym Solutions, I apply my 14+ years of experience and expertise in medical billing and coding for Oncology and Orthopedic specialties. I am responsible for processing claims, managing records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. I am also in the process of getting certified by the AAPC as a Certified Professional Biller (CPB) and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), demonstrating my proficiency and knowledge in medical billing and coding.My passion for the medical and healthcare industry stems from my previous roles as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher at NorthStar EMS and a Surgical Scheduler at University Orthopaedic Clinic & Spine Center. I have acquired valuable skills and credentials in Electronic Health Records (EHR), Emergency Medical Technician Basic and Advanced (EMT-B), and International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED).
