Interns go through a rigorous application process and when selected they are assigned to work with a state legislator or lobbying firm during the Florida Legislative Session. Interns gain insightful experience while working full time for the legislature. My time was spent working with Senator Baxley of District 12 to help facilitate constituent relations.
