I am a rising senior at Dartmouth College double majoring in History and Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies with a minor in Geography. I am also a Gates Scholar, HSF Scholar, QuestBridge Scholar, and Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. In 2024, I won a Beinecke Scholarship.I also empower the first-generation community by mentoring other first-generation low-income high-school students from my hometown Passaic, New Jersey, inspiring them to occupy these places with me as well.My love for history has continued to blossom at the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, where I maintain databases in SalesForce and compile archival images and metadata. Inspired by courses like the history of Modern Mexico, Latinx communities in the United States, and the U.S-Mexican Borderlands, I am working on empowering our community. After I graduate, I plan to pursue a PhD in history, focusing on Latino communities and immigrant-labor organizing in the United States.
