Hospital settingProvides skilled intervention to patients in acute care settings including CVS ICU, Inpatient Rehab as directed by the Occupational Therapist◦Observes, records and reports patient reactions, changes and progress.*Educates patient, families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist◦Communicates effectively with OT and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans*Participates in case conferencing promoting coordination of care.◦Participates in facility in-service training programs◦Maintains patients confidence and protects hospital operations by records, keeping information confidential◦Records daily treatment charges according to facility policy and procedures◦Protects patient and staff by adhering to infection control policies and protection protocols
