I also had the opportunity to shadow a Rehabilitation Counsellor and Provisional Psychologist providing me with practical experience in the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselling sector including the writing up of Vocational Evaluation Reports and exposure to the intricacies of assisting clients to develop effective Job Seeking and Interview Skills. My time with Konekt has provided me with valuable insight into the Vocational Rehabilitation Sector and has given me the confidence to complete my Masters in Rehabilitation Counselling knowing this sector is a good fit for my future career goals. I not only serviced, repaired and maintained photocopiers all over South East Queensland I got the opportunity to be a role model for senior school girls who were wanting to take on non traditional careers in the trade industry.
