Advise directors, trustees and staff of 30 separate county library systems on policy development, legislation, new technology, strategic planning, programming, local library administration, budget preparation, etc. Coordinate continuing education opportunities and foster cooperation and sharing between libraries at various levels (directors, programmers, bookmobile/outreach, etc.). Provide training and orientation for new directors and library trustees and help foster mentoring arrangements between new and experienced directors. Create and publish a weekly regional newsletter to keep library leadership informed of news, developments and changes, continuing education opportunities for themselves and their staff, and timely reminders of upcoming statutory and other reporting deadlines.

Primarily Adult Services including Circulation, Reference and Local and Family History, although I sometimes plan programs for all ages. I also take care of the collection management for the library's ebook/e-audiobook collection and prepare and send out a print and digital "titles we'll be adding" brochure called "McReader's Digest" each month.
