Manage a team of 20 plus employees in implementing and directing supply chain activities across all procedural areas in an 800-bed hospital. Oversee case picking, requisitioning, inventory, and delivery of supplies. Maintained inventory for bulk supply purchases and consignment items. Coordinated with VP Of Surgical Services, OR Director(s), Cardiac Directors, physicians, Physician Relations, and clinical teams. Set high-performance standards and motivated the supply chain team. • Improved efficiency by utilizing PAR analysis to identify and remove unneeded items from supply rooms. Notably, improving the main Operating Room par 90 Day on-hand supplies from 66% to 12% in six months. • Promoted cost savings by increasing the use of reprocessed items in the Operating Room and Cath Lab, which will exceed all savings targets set by HCA Corporate. • Collaborated with IT to removed 90,000 unnecessary codes from the dictionary to improve caregiver experience and reduce the potential for incorrect charges.• Reported daily supply spend to accounting as well as collaborated with Supply Chain Director to produce the monthly supply spend analysis to distribute to various stakeholders in accounting.

Selected to participate in this rigorous, hands-on, two-year leadership development program. Rotate quarterly through supply chain departments at hospital and warehouse locations. Projects and initiatives included:• Centralized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and all products considered at risk during Covid 19 pandemic; counted and reported to HealthTrust and HCA Corporate daily. Aligned corporate and division financial resiliency plans and supply cost management strategies.• Gained hands-on experience using SMART, Lumere, Business Objects, Power BI, and Google Scholar. Conducted extensive research with vendors and facility leadership to gather product information—available resources, intended use category, adverse events, recalls, product utilization, and more.• Worked with facility and department leaders to develop disaster/emergency preparedness protocols for hospital.
