Partner with Total Rewards, internal communications, and other stakeholders to plan and deliver engaging benefits and compensation communications that contribute to an outstanding experience for MassMutual colleagues. Lead communications for various enterprise-wide initiatives.

Planned and executed Lindt USA’s internal communications strategy. Produced executive communications, presentations, videos, and talking points. Produced digital newsletters, engagement videos, content for digital bulletin boards, all-company emails, and internal communications campaigns. Provided communications support for HR team and special projects. Managed the Lindt USA content calendar, intranet site, and internal communications budget. Planned and executed employee events, including Town Halls and virtual meetings. Recognized with the company’s MVP (Most VALUE-able Player) Award in 2020.

Led MITRE’s Talent Communications team, responsible for coordinating, planning, and producing talent communications across HR’s portfolio of projects and programs. Partnered with HR Centers of Excellence, Strategic Communications, HR project managers, and other key stakeholders to plan and deliver impactful communications reinforcing MITRE’s Talent Experience Vision. Served as the primary writer and communications support person for MITRE’s SVP, Chief Human Resources and Strategic Communications Officer. Hired, coached, and managed team members.

As part of the Total Rewards team (with a dotted line to Strategic Communications), partnered closely with Benefits, Compensation, HR Service Center, and HRIT colleagues to develop internal communications campaigns supporting Total Rewards programs, initiatives, and strategic objectives. Led communications planning and served as the primary writer/editor for projects such as Benefits Open Enrollment, the Annual Review process, the introduction of new incentive and award programs, and the rollout of new benefits such as College Loan Repayment Assistance and Parental Leave. Earned MITRE’s top award as the project manager and communications lead for an initiative that introduced new healthcare plans to the organization.

Worked with management teams to develop effective marketing strategies, developed digital and print marketing communications in collaboration with graphic designers and video/animation professionals, managed DNV GL and client newsletters, trained DNV GL staff on effective writing practices, edited consultants’ work products, and contributed to proposals. Served as the lead writer for a winning $10M proposal.

Planned and oversaw marketing and communications initiatives, managed creative vendors and communications staff members (1.5 FTEs), edited consultants’ reports, coordinated media inquiries and webinars, and led the firm’s proposal development efforts. Led quarterly meetings to identify and gain consensus on communications priorities, established biweekly internal business communications from the CEO, developed a robust new proposal process for the firm, helped to develop a SharePoint intranet platform, and led a complete overhaul of the external website that was completed on time and on budget in 2014.

Served as the primary writer and editor for PSNH’s corporate communications department. Developed content for a wide range of internal and external communications, including executive speeches and presentations, newsletters, reports, press releases, special publications, marketing collateral, radio and print advertisements, videos, emails, editorials, award applications, and intranet and website pages. Managed internal and external newsletters, coordinated CEO town meetings and leadership meetings, helped to implement the biennial employee survey, and led annual business priorities campaigns to inform and engage employees. Collaborated with graphic designers and other creative vendors.

Worked with a team of editors and graphic designers to develop an array of print and digital marketing communications supporting the Museum’s membership, educational, and fundraising goals. Interviewed scientists and exhibition coordinators to produce feature articles for the Museum’s member newsletter. Wrote and edited copy for marketing collateral, email blasts, and the Museum website.

Developed content for internal publications, executive communications, the PSNH website, and other corporate communications projects.
