Melissa is the co-founder of Clear Path for Veterans, a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to veterans of all eras in New York and Massachusetts. With over 13 years of experience as a non-profit leader and entrepreneur, Melissa brings financial resources, vision, inspiration, and organizational development to her mission of supporting veteran well-being and transition. She is certified by PsychArmor® Institute, a non-profit organization that provides online education and support to military veterans and their families.Melissa is also a business partner in Blue Prints Dog Training & Socialization Center, a dog daycare and training facility that serves over 150 clients daily and has two locations. She has been a business owner and entrepreneur since 1985, when she graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelor's degree. She has skills in new business development, marketing communications, and organizational leadership, which she applies to her ventures and philanthropy. She is passionate about giving back to the community, especially through service dog programs for veterans with service-connected PTS. She continues to inspire communities to invest in veteran well-being and remains focused on expanding Clear Path for Veterans in other regions.
