My major responsibilities in this role included direct marketing and analytics for both our Travel and Rewards divisions. I helped to build the travel data in the marketing database (ePiphany), and developed analytics reports for both travel and SYC&S. The travel analytics reports were so well received that they were requested for all list-based initiatives, and used to plan and tweak future campaigns. I became one of three ePiphany super users. It’s a badge I wear with honor.

I was head-hunted for this role, where I took over management of a small wholesale company that was operating physically within the warehouse of its parent company.I inherited a staff of 8 (some of whom had been there for 20+ years), scouted new warehouse/office locations, coordinated the move and the setup of the new location and ran it for two years. I was HR, purchasing, office/warehouse management and marketing. It was intense. I learned a lot about just how much I can actually handle when I’m challenged. I now believe that I can work with anyone, and I can handle pretty much anything that is thrown at me.

Intermerge was a business sale and mergers & acquisitions advisory firm. I worked closely with the BDM in developing strategies for our clients, including preparing company profiles, meeting and screening potential buyers, working with lenders and working through the sale process. I was also responsible for developing all proposals for our business valuation department, follow-up and closing the files.
