Solace is a licensed home care agency in the Denver Metro area composed of Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists.I lead our clinic feeding clinic, conduct initial sessions and evaluations of all new referrals within a 48 hour time period, provide weekly in-home, and feeding clinic based services. Patients include those diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, apraxia, Williams syndrome, spina bifida, various genetic disorders, sensory integration, expressive language delay, articulation and speech-sound disorder, cleft lip and palate, feeding problems – organic in nature and behavioral/sensory, low oral tone, central auditory processing disorder, stuttering, and developmental delays.Experienced with Individualized Family Service Plans as well as federal regulations for the early intervention population, Medicaid and state regulatins for home health agencies, keeping of electronic medical charts to code, and co-treatment with other team professionals.

Conduct evaluations, provide weekly therapy for a caseload of 30, organize and plan quarterly inservices, student supervisor. Patients include those diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, apraxia, VATER syndrome, spina bifida, various genetic disorders, sensory integration, expressive language delay, articulation and speech-sound disorder, cleft lip and palate, feeding problems – organic in nature and behavioral/sensory, low oral tone, central auditory processing disorder, stuttering, and developmental delays.Experienced with Individualized Family Service Plans as well as federal regulations for the early intervention population, Medicaid eligibility and billing, keeping medical charts to code, and co-treatment with other team professionals.

Facilitate the North Metro Community Services Medicaid Team. Lead a group of eight professionals, handling all pediatric Medicaid referrals for speech therapy, mental health, occupational therapy, and physical therapy in Adam’s County.

Evaluate and provide therapy for children in the special education program on a contract basis.Caseload includes patients with cognitive deficits, expressive and receptive language delay and disorder, articulation disorder, English as a second language, and pressure equliazation tubes.

Devised lesson plans, conducted evaluations, and remediation services for a caseload of fifteen adult clients presenting with hearing impairment or deafness both group and individual settings.Caseload included clients with mental retardation, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, dementia, neurofibromatosis type 2, and English as a second language.Therapy provided consisted of auditory training, speech reading, English as a second language, speech tracking, articulation therapy, sign language, and hearing aid education and training.

Produced individual lesson plans for children aged nine to sixteen with communication delays/disorders based on their IEPsProvided evaluation and remediation of various forms of communication delays/disorders including articulation, coarticulation, central auditory processing disorder, apraxia, and language delay.
