Create and review process lineups, create die concepts using sheet modeling from physical part models, hand drawn sketches, or verbal descriptions. Set up and run finite element analysis for formability, blank development, and trim-line development. Alter the forming process or request part concessions as necessary to meet the customer's formability requirements. Create reports detailing simulation results to be used during die design and manufacturing

Die design and formability simulation using AutoForm and Unigraphics. Set up, run, and analyze formability simulations. Analyze springback results and apply overbend to the die concept where necessary, verify the applied overbend with additional simulations. As needed, in order to facilitate work flow, assist layout personnel with extensive surfacing work for new designs and with engineering changes to dies that are already designed and / or built.
