I’m a communications strategist with a background in project management, digital and media communications. I’m driven by powerful storytelling and advocating for social good. I'm a graduate of California State University-Long Beach (CSULB), where I received dual degrees in History and Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. I later worked as the Communications Coordinator for the Associated Students Inc. at CSULB, supporting branding, event planning, media relations, internal communications and student outreach for the University Student Union’s Board of Directors. After moving to Seattle in 2008, I began volunteering and later working with Healing the Children’s Oregon and Western Washington chapter where I focused on fundraising, social media and communications to support the Board of Directors. I then worked at DDB Issues and Advocacy developing relationships with online influencers and conducting social media research and managing social media accounts for the client. I also worked at Conexión Marketing, a Latino marketing agency, where I assisted with media relations and bilingual social media campaigns.I currently work at Aggregate, where I work with nonprofit and Foundation clients like the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. My role includes working with clients to achieve their communication objectives while also leading my internal team to execute and deliver successful social media strategies, web content and network opportunities.
