I am an experienced qualified accountant trained at PWC but what I specialise in now is working in the SME sector. A hands-on type of person I will do what needs to be done to get the job done – implementing new systems, establishing budgeting and reporting processes, building a team, negotiating bank facilities, commercial finance, overseeing HR, treasury and FX hedging and insurance amongst other things. I have worked in Europe and built up finance teams overseas.In my last three roles I have come in evaluated and made improvements to the current finance departments and prepared the business for sale and investment whilst being an integral part of the M and A process.I have worked in several sectors including recruitment, FMCG and media.I am used to working at Board level and with a variety of people - owners of businesses/ private equity in an entrepreneurial environment.I am building a portfolio career so please contact me to discuss new opportunities on a permanent or contact basis or NED positions.
