About Melissa Goodson

My professional interests include digital marketing, communication strategy, small business development, organizational culture, and social media strategy. My teaching philosophy is, “I believe that when students and faculty are passionate about what they are accomplishing in the classroom as well as in the professional world, a mutually beneficial relationship exists that is unlike any other. Relationships are key to ongoing success in the business world. Therefore, I work to build community in the classroom along with skills. This learning environment is formed around active learning and team creativity.” In my personal time, I enjoy writing, spending time on my yoga mat and exploring local small businesses.
