About Melissa Jomsky

In 2016, I returned to school to begin taking pre-requisites for medical school. Since then I have been on an academic and experiential journey to building myself as a strong candidate for the medical school application process. In 2016, I began working in patient care at Z-Roc Dermatology as a medical assistant working for two osteopathic physicians. I am still currently employed there, and have gained invaluable knowledge and experience for my future as a healthcare provider. In 2022, I began a master's program at Nova Southeastern University to enhance my academic knowledge to prepare me for the rigor of medical school. I believe through both of these experiences that I have adequately prepared myself to become a successful medical school student. I am currently participating in the 2022-2023 medical school application cycle, and within this next cycle I hope to match with a school that will help prepare me to be an innovative and successful leader in medicine. I am looking forward to seeing the mountains I can move in my community by being an unstoppable advocate in healthcare.
