I am a recent graduate from Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice and Criminology. Currently, I am volunteering as a research assistant in Dr. Renee Magnan's WSUV Health and Social Psychology Research Lab. In spring 2025, I hope to return to WSUV to work on my prerequisites for physical therapy programs.After gaining work experience during three gap years, I plan to enter either a Doctor of Physical Therapy program or a police academy. My career goals are to become either a police K9 handler or a physical therapist. Both careers would allow me to interact with and help people while solving complex problems. I value physical wellness so I also would like a career that involves being active. In order to explore my career options further, I am currently looking for shadowing or ride along opportunities for physical therapy and law enforcement. I would also love to have career conversations with professionals currently working in these fields.
