Advocate for the importance of student employment and federal work study positions on Salt Lake Community College campuses in order to support student retention efforts. Support departments wishing to create roles for students and promote their positions. Manage team of 14 coaches serving undergraduate and graduate Business students at the David Eccles School of Business. Create high-level, engaging career education for Eccles students throughout their entire college experience. Dedicated Career Coach to the First-Ascent Scholarship students, developing programming to empower first-generation students in their career exploration and job search process. Create Strengths-based programming delivered in Freshman Career Course, Business Communications Course, Groups and Teams Course. Deliver teams-based Strengths workshops to student leaders, Eccles departments, and scholarship programs.

Established Business Career Services department at the Eccles School, creating processes, relationships and programming to benefit the career outcomes of our graduates.Created mandatory Freshman Career Course which provides all Eccles students with self-discovery, career exploration, decision making and job search implementation education as well as alumni, employer and Eccles School connections.Coaches students in Accounting and Masters of Accounting, implementing innovative recruiting and educational resources which resulted in over 95% placement for 6+ years.

Provide career guidance to students in the Information Systems, Accounting and Marketing undergraduate programs and Accounting and Information Systems masters programs. Work directly with employers in these areas to connect them with students seeking their job opportunities.Created innovative recruiting preparation programs to increase Accounting placement rates to 95%, maintained or exceeded this rate consistently for 8 years.

Coordinate employer outreach and recruitment services for centralized career center. Assist employers in developing relationships on campus and increasing their visibility with students.

Coordinator for career center services offered to Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin county (Colorado) residents going through job transitions. Services include: job search workshops, resume reviews, mock interviews, internet job search assistance, career assessments, labor market information, as well as referrals to area programs.
