Beginning as a part-time teacher for this Forbes-ranked company, I was quickly promoted into the position of Head Teacher, Academic Coordinator, and finally Academic Manager. These positions required that I actively participate in the hiring and continued education of faculty, including facilitating the initial 15-hour training and orientation, executing formal observations and feedback sessions, and designing and presenting professional development seminars. Each week I was tasked with the organization of internal communications and scheduling of over 50 faculty members and nearly 1,000 students. Additional administrative duties included maintaining cyclical deadlines for teachers and managing programs, projects, and special events with a focus on academic quality and customer satisfaction. I was selected to travel to the EF headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland for our New Manager Training. Previously, I was selected to travel as Teacher on the Road to present information about the company to prospective clients at schools and universities throughout Mexico.

The position of Client Services Manager allowed me to continue my growth in coordinating several large products for various clients. Working with enrollment and registration, I was able to perform as a liaison with agents around the world, schedule programs, collect and provide payments, research and conduct visa documentations, and maintain a management level database. I was afforded the opportunity to work as a programs manager, in which I oversaw the accommodation department and social programs.

As a consulting company, we worked to coordinate studies and travels abroad based on group or individual needs and interests. For those persons traveling into the United States, we provided English language coaching to assist with their travels and cultural experiences as well as facilitated special events for their attendance.

As a guest teacher, I provided English lessons to students, coaching to teachers, and influence on school methodology and material. Additionally I facilitated special events for educational and marketing purposes. This afforded the opportunity to build a network and potential clientele for a consulting company, in which travel abroad and relevant studies would be organized for groups or individuals.

As the Head ESL Teacher for this private language school, I coordinated various activities, liaised with sales agents, and worked as an office administrator in addition to my duties as an Accreditation Liaison and DSO / Visa specialist.
