Subcontracting Professional
Current*Solicit, negotiate, award and administer various complex subcontracts for Operational and Technical organizations*Provide guidance and support to ensure Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and other cost accounting standards are followed and understood*Develop statements of work, identify sources and participate in overall acquisition planning to ensure quality and completeness*Evaluate proposals and determine final vendor selection, negotiate terms and conditions, price, delivery terms and award subcontracts*Collaborate and partner with customers and cross-functional teams to address issues and ensure compliance with rules and regulations*Interpret corporate policy and formulate recommendations based on policy*Work closely with internal customers to identify and mitigate/manage risks*Monitor supplier performance and maintain effective communication*Administer complex procurements with conflicting priorities and deadlines*Analyze data to anticipate future subcontract needs*Control costs by ensuring subcontracts are set up in a manner that benefits Sandia*Exercise attention to detail when documenting procurement actions*Establish and maintain spreadsheet to track action items and report back to customers*Educate customer base through training presentations*Participate in Rapid Improvement Events to share ideas on process improvements
