My research focuses on applying chemoproteomic approaches to tackle the undruggable proteome using induce-proximity modalities.• Discovery of a minimal degradative covalent handle that targets the E3 ligase, DCAF16, for novel design of molecular glue degraders targeting multiple cancer targets.• Collaborated with scientists in multiple disciplines and presented results in monthly meetings, aswell as to stakeholders from UC Berkeley and Novartis.• Trained and mentored undergraduate students in the lab.

Dr. Christine Hrycyna’s Lab• Research concerning the yeast intracellular transmembrane zinc metalloprotease, Ste 24.• Develop multiple assays to study the membrane-substrate binding and to characterize the binding site using biochemical techniques.
