Goal of the research is to be able to provide personalized instruction for upper body tasks. Previous research worked with cognitive tasks, such as teaching math, and were computer based. Our research wants to expand on this and teach physical tasks. Since we are measuring a person's understanding of a physical task, we require a model that represents a person's mastery. The model that was selected is a Hidden Markov Model which is a machine learning algorithm that will ultimately be used to predict a person's comprehension based on their actions that we can observe. The model is trained with data taken from cameras that are used to establish ground truth and an embedded device worn on the person's wrist which contains an accelerometer and gyroscope and will supplement data collected from the cameras. Applications for this research include education, training, and physical therapy.

The Knowledgeable, Engaged, and Aspiring Students (KEAS) Program is an equity program providing support for those in pre-college classes. As a tutor, my job to fill in the gaps of their knowledge in whatever math class they are taking.

Advising the Head of Business on decisions regarding the budget, proposals, and anything else pertaining to the position that requires attention. Additional support is given for outreach opportunities specifically towards the logistics and execution of the event.

My role required creating the team business plan, updating the yearly budget and income (the typical budget is on the upwards of $30,000), writing proposals, planning fundraisers (ex. Vietnam Veterans Truck and selling shaved ice) and training a potential prospect to take over the position.
