The Digital Production Coordinator plans and manages production of all assigned projects and internal job requests from origin to execution. This position is responsible for project analysis and launch, budget, schedule, and implementation of both digital and print production assignments. This position ensures the timely, cost-effective, and quality production of ASTM publications and products in print and other media, such as ASTM journals, standard translations, reference radiographs, standard figures, adjuncts, TMC products, compilations, manuals, STPs, the ASTM Book of Standards, or any other ASTM publications or produced material as assigned. Position recommends new vendors to improve service, schedule and costs. This position is also responsible for assisting in facilitation of project mission definitions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements. The Digital Production Coordinator will work on teams and alone to assist in developing, establishing, and maintaining standard operating procedures. This person oversees assigned projects to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the different interests involved are satisfied.
