I work closely with the UK and EU Director, and other Strategy Team Leaders to support and grow the EU Strategy Division. I am responsible for training and managing all EU Strategy Consultants, as well as leading by example as an exemplar of Crimson Education’s philosophy of making a difference in students’ lives.I have built a strong team of EU Strategists with the highest standards of integrity; maintain utmost responsibility in managing students’ goals and plans; and contribute to the professional development of the self and of the team.

I work closely with students who are interested in all countries in Europe. I work alongside other Crimson tutors, mentors and consultants. My goal is to drive progress through long-term roadmaps, offering a perspective into European higher education, and mentoring through the candidacy building and application processes. I am an expert in all European countries, but primarily in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Italy, and Ireland.

Pediatric spinal cord injury and their caregiversResponsibilities: Oversee data collection, management, and recruiting for a longitudinal study evaluating psychosocial outcomes in children with spinal cord injury and their caregivers. Administer assessments, continued recruitment, and poster and manuscript preparation for a study investigating the relationship between psycho-social outcomes and problem-solving strategies in children with SCI. Analyze data of caregiver perspectives on parenting a child with spinal cord injury and prepare a mixed-method manuscript for publication of results. Contribute to weekly research department meetings, assist with outreach clinics in South Carolina and Florida (Shriners Hospital locations), and regularly coordinate data collection with Shriners Hospital in Chicago. Pediatric medical trauma (e.g. injury, cancer, acute medical events) Responsibilities: Contribute to protocol and measure development for various studies targeting secondary prevention of posttraumatic stress in children and families experiencing acute medical trauma or chronic illness. Take a lead role in examining children’s cognitive appraisals in a parent-child interaction task by recruiting and interviewing children and parents, transcribing interviews, and managing data entry, coding, and data analysis (via SPSS and Excel). Contributed on a study protocol examining a web-based resource (Coping Coach) for children following acute traumatic events (e.g. sudden illness or injury). Assist in training other research assistants and study staff on implementing protocols. Assist in preparing presentations and manuscripts. Inpatient Adult Psychiatry Observed in-patient mental health hospital studying treatment methods of individuals with mental illness (Bi-polar, Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms, and Anxiety). Contributed to literature reviews and weekly presentations on diagnoses for patients in the Emergency Psychiatric Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Short Say Unit and Maternity Care Unit. Observed psychological assessments, consultations, and therapy in a medical capacity. Interviewed individuals diagnosed with schizoaffective, borderline and schizophrenia. Witnessed court cases involving patients, in-patient health providers and the law to determine patient-related care.
