    When I started at this early-stage shipping startup, Shiptimize was a name, but it was not a brand. My main job was to change that, and so I did. It was up to me to create Shiptimize's story, its language, its marketing goals, its content strategy. And as it happens in most early-stage startups I played in many different communications fronts: managed a small but committed marketing team, wrote a new website, created and managed content for social media and for a blog, launched paid campaigns as well a podcast, wrote press releases, and got them published in relevant media outlets... Communication-wise, you name it and I have probably done it. In the end, when I decided to say goodbye to that once small startup in order to focus 100% on my Ph.D., Shiptimize had not only hugely increased its website traffic, getting a constant number of monthly leads through it, but above all, it had definitely become a brand.

    It is very good to leave a company hearing that you will always have the doors open. Better yet is to experience it, being invited to go back to where it all began. In this return to the real estate marketing, it was interesting to see what remained essential, such as brochures and print ads, but it was also good to do more video scripts, more e-mails, create more modern concepts, think about websites and unique activations for the point of sale.

This did not go unnoticed at Mark Up's brainstorming meetings, since they thought of me when in need of someone to join their team of planners. I could resist the urge to dive into this exciting challenge, and not only did I deepen my collaboration in developing campaign concepts, themes, and activations, but I also learned how to plan promotions and incentive campaigns, sales and corporate travel conventions, handle robust spreadsheets and coordinate the delivery of different teams, taking into account that each project was still creative, coherent, feasible and, of course, within budget.

I've created names, concepts, copy and creative action plans for some very important real estate projects like Tamboré 11, Double Deck, Start Jardim Clube, Jardins da Barra, Nature Jundiaí, Altier Perdizes and many others.I got there without a portfolio, and I left having some of my work printed in the largest newspapers and magazines in the country, with ad books full of details, copy on various websites, banners, e-mails and with a deep knowledge of the real estate market. I arrived as an intern and left as senior. But much was yet to come. Even in Archote itself.
