I’m an advertiser and, for the past 17 years, I have been working with a great number of prestigious Brazilian and international brands such as Amazon, Nestlé, Banco Itaú, Unilever, Whirlpool, Mercedes-Benz, and others. I’ve also worked with creative planning, which helped me improve not only my writing skills but also my capacity to look at each project from a different perspective.

Senior CopywriterFreelancer Oct 2015 - PresentLisboa, Lisboa, PortugalI write engaging, well-planned, and tailored copy for all kinds of media and clients. I also create campaign and company names, content strategy for blogs and social media, and write websites, presentations, screenplays. Sometimes I even bring visual ideas to the table. I'm all about communicating in a way that fits the briefing, the brand, the client, and the audience, but with fresh eyes and ideas.

Marketing ManagerShiptimize Apr 2018 - Aug 2020LisbonWhen I started at this early-stage shipping startup, Shiptimize was a name, but it was not a brand. My main job was to change that, and so I did. It was up to me to create Shiptimize's story, its language, its marketing goals, its content strategy. And as it happens in most early-stage startups I played in many different communications fronts: managed a small but committed marketing team, wrote a new website, created and managed content for social media and for a blog, launched paid campaigns as well a podcast, wrote press releases, and got them published in relevant media outlets... Communication-wise, you name it and I have probably done it. In the end, when I decided to say goodbye to that once small startup in order to focus 100% on my Ph.D., Shiptimize had not only hugely increased its website traffic, getting a constant number of monthly leads through it, but above all, it had definitely become a brand. -
MarketingFindmore Consulting, S.A. Apr 2017 - Oct 2017Lisboa E Região, PortugalTwo months after moving to Portugal, I joined the marketing area of one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the country. In addition to planning, developing, and monitoring the results of Facebook, Linkedin, and Adwords campaigns, the job was also to optimize the company's websites through SEO, give support to internal communication and deal with merchandise. -
MarketingNearshore Portugal Apr 2017 - Oct 2017Lisboa E Região, PortugalNearshore Portugal is a business division in Findmore Consulting that is gradually becoming an independent brand. Therefore, the marketing team was also responsible for planning, developing, and monitoring the results of Facebook, Linkedin, and Adwords campaigns, for optimizing the company's website through SEO, and for giving support to internal communication. But, when it comes to this brand, the focus is always on international markets. -
Senior CopywriterVersão Beta May 2016 - Nov 2016Digital was gaining more and more space in my career, which had begun quite offline. But the turning point was my arrival in Vbeta, a digital solutions-focused agency. With big clients such as Ambev, and its e-commerce for suppliers, and Brinquedos Estrela, I created several posts for different social networks and their most diverse formats, as well as e-mail marketing, websites, and newsletters. -
CopywriterRepense Comunicação Dec 2015 - May 2016São Paulo E Região, BrasilThe time I've spent in Repense made me dive into the details of one of the largest and most important banks in Brazil, Itaú-Unibanco. There were many e-mails, banners, and even ATM screens developed not only for the mother brand, but also for its different divisions such as BMG, Itaú Personnalité, Uniclass, and Itaú Empresas. In addition, I also helped create concepts and copy for GS1 Brasil’s internal campaigns and social media posts for Bombril. -
Senior CopywriterPublicidade Archote Sep 2014 - Oct 2015São PauloIt is very good to leave a company hearing that you will always have the doors open. Better yet is to experience it, being invited to go back to where it all began. In this return to the real estate marketing, it was interesting to see what remained essential, such as brochures and print ads, but it was also good to do more video scripts, more e-mails, create more modern concepts, think about websites and unique activations for the point of sale.

CopywriterMark Up Jan 2014 - Aug 2014São PauloAfter some internal moves, Mark Up had decided to restructure, and with that, the planning team would get smaller. It was my opportunity to get back to the creative team, and so I went back to creating copy for various Live Marketing materials. There were innumerable websites, broadsides, banners, invitations, e-mails, welcome letters, and speeches, always aligned with the theme, contributing to making the consumer experience more complete and coherent, while still managing to get the information through. -
PlannerMark Up Jan 2013 - Jan 2014São PauloAfter acting as a freelancer for a few months at Mark Up as a copywriter, I received an unusual invitation: to become a permanent member of the planning team. Since I had worked in agencies that did not have a specific person to create the strategy of the communication plans, I ended up getting used to always thinking beyond the copy. This did not go unnoticed at Mark Up's brainstorming meetings, since they thought of me when in need of someone to join their team of planners. I could resist the urge to dive into this exciting challenge, and not only did I deepen my collaboration in developing campaign concepts, themes, and activations, but I also learned how to plan promotions and incentive campaigns, sales and corporate travel conventions, handle robust spreadsheets and coordinate the delivery of different teams, taking into account that each project was still creative, coherent, feasible and, of course, within budget. -
Freelancer CopywriterHome Office May 2011 - Jan 2013São PauloBy leaving open doors on some of the agencies where I had previously worked, I naturally created a list of "clients" that allowed me become a freelancer for the first time in my career. In addition to continuing to create copy for online, offline, and events material for Archote and Bekerman, I also worked with DGI and Baked.ag. Also, by having more time to travel, I ended up producing some journalistic pieces for UOL Viagens.

CopywriterBekerman Comunicação Nov 2010 - Feb 2011São PauloAfter starting my career focusing on the real estate market, I took a new exit and entered the then-called BTL market of Bekerman. There, I was able to work with more diverse brands such as Alelo, EDP, Emirates Airline, and Lojas Marisa. At Berkerman, which would later become Idealista, I wrote my first welcome letters, RSVPs, confirmation e-mails, and thank you letters. I also made my first point of sale promotion, began to assist the conceptual planning of conventions and events, and even helped creating the internal launch of the Alelo brand, the largest company of benefits cards in Brazil.

CopywriterPublicidade Archote Jun 2006 - Nov 2010São PauloLet's go back in time. Not just to the beginning of my career in advertising, but to 78 years ago when the ad agency where I started my career opened its doors. Archote is part of the history of the real estate market in Brazil (not to mention the international campaigns) and I was part of Archote's history for almost 5 years, only in this first stage. I've created names, concepts, copy and creative action plans for some very important real estate projects like Tamboré 11, Double Deck, Start Jardim Clube, Jardins da Barra, Nature Jundiaí, Altier Perdizes and many others.I got there without a portfolio, and I left having some of my work printed in the largest newspapers and magazines in the country, with ad books full of details, copy on various websites, banners, e-mails and with a deep knowledge of the real estate market. I arrived as an intern and left as senior. But much was yet to come. Even in Archote itself.
