Spearheaded the formation, development, and launch of the Infrastructure and Engineering Services Division to provide customer architecture and engineering; as well as internal applications systems development and support/maintenance. Established key operating capabilities, creation of performance metrics and budget management. Key Results: Exceeded expectations and produced multi-million dollar results as Statera’s financials soared from $3M to $15M annually during my tenure. Reduced annual IT costs 23% by restructuring to ensure project prioritization based on quantified, fact-based business cases through a portfolio approach to project selection and management. Launched new portfolio of systems that promoted revenue growth and real-time project management/labor management. Headed cross-functional team that developed Internet business-to-business strategies and introduced more than 20 B2B solutions, including the first cloud-based solution within the ViaWest Data Center.

As a direct report of the CTO, I functioned as the Director of Customer Support and Microsoft Technology Subject Matter Expert for Product Development for this star-up software company. Duties as Microsoft Subject Matter Expert for Product Development included assisting in the development of the Allocity Live!Ex product; the industry first, self-managing, self-protecting storage subsystem engineered specifically for storing Microsoft Exchange databases. During my tenure with Allocity we developed the iSCSI technology that was subsequently purchased by Microsoft for distribution as the Microsoft certified iSCSI driver-set. I managed our Fortune 500 customers through all aspects of the software release cycles, including running the Alpha and Beta programs. Created the Customer Support Center designed to offer 24x7x365 world-class support. Allocity was acquired by the EMC Corporation and relocated to Austin Texas in 2004.

Co-founded eWranglers. a regional management and IT consulting firm to deliver Microsoft consulting services in the Denver Metro region. Expanded eWranglers into the Bozeman Montana market to expand the company's focus with security consulting; including Certified Information Systems Security, Firewalls, Internet Filtering, IP Telephony, Secure Business Communications, Virus/Malware Protection and Virtual Private Networking. I created the company's delivery organization, ensuring the effective implementation of technology to meet each customer's business needs, and established operations plans to generate increased efficiency. Led all company sales efforts while providing sales support for customer proposals, demonstrations, trade shows and benchmarks. Managed the field engineering staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

I created Action Networking’s delivery organization for IT consulting services in the Colorado Front Range and the Minneapolis MN metropolitan areas. Action Networking provided Microsoft Consulting services with an emphasis on cross-platform interoperability. Regional customers included AT&T Broadband (formerly TCI), Majestic Management International, Sheldahl Micro Products, Aurora Dairy, Horizon Organic Dairies, Robinson Brick, MasterCraft Cabinets, Avitek, and Qwest (formerly US West). Action Networking was acquired by Ballantyne Computer Systems Inc. in 1999.
